Sequim is a town that loves to celebrate. The Irregation Festival held in early May is the oldest continuous festival in Washington State. Sequim also hosts a Traditional Jazz Festival in June, the Lavender Festival with demonstrations and tours of the farms in early August, and the River Festival in September.

Enjoy the many farm activities in and around sunny Sequim. The Sequim sun encourages flower farmers to grow their colorful crop in abundance for show and U-pick. Lavender, Sequim's official flower, is available from July to October 1st.

The River Park is a special place to abserve the Dungeness River which provides water to irregate the lush Sequim-Dungeness valley. Walk across the river on the decked, original railway trestle or picnic at the river's edge.

Sequim is a town with many unique gift shops, murals, antique stores, galleries, a museum and fine restaurants. Visit the Open Aire Market on Saturdays where local growers sell fresh produce and artisans sell their handcrafted items.

The sunny Sequim valley is perfect for bicycling with uncrowded, gently rolling terrain and expansive breathtaking views of the Olympics, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the Cascade mountains, Victoria and the San Juan Islands.

Golfing is one of the more popular sports in Sequim, with the driest, longest playing season in the State of Washington.

Sequim is the northern gate to the Olympic National Forest. It is possible from one vantage point near Sequim to experience the breathtaking view of downtown Seattle, Hood Canal, Mt. Rainier and the San Juan Islands.
