Popular events include the colorful Mossyrock Spring Shower of Flowers held every April when tulips and daffodils are in full bloom. In August the festive Loggers Jubilee in Morton attracts competitors from around the world.

Rich in history, Lewis County was shaped by the railroads. In keeping with its heritage, the Lewis County Historical Museum is located in the old railroad depot in downtown Chehalis. For a real sense of the past, hop aboard the 1916 steam locomotive #15 in Chehalis or the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad for a journey over several wooden bridges, through graceful rolling hills and picturesque farmland.
